Post David Beckham to move to LA?

It looks like Becks and Posh will be heading to LA this Summer.....

big pay drop there ain't it from $5M to $1.5....but not getting a regular team spot says it all really about his career...it's a bit like when gary lineaker tried to continue his career in Japan...a bit sad really...

Yes it is a bit sad, didn't our George Best end up doing something like that.

Not sure about Best... But, I think that Gazza ended his career playing for a small team somewhere in China. I'd prefer the MLS any day.

Yeah but here I guess he figures his endorsement value will be higher. Plus, he's not getting any younger... time for a career in movies perhaps. He (they) have always managed the media better than he ever managed a ball.

As to Posh acting...isn't that what she's been doing for 10-15 years??

I dont think he played for a team as such over here but for some reason he did live over here, have to ask Tom about that one They should give back to our own clubs the talent they had for the game.

From what I heard the deal is closer to $250 million over 5 years. It's probably going to be great for him and maybe even get him back into the England team. He should be by far the best player in MLS which should give him more confidence and hopefully he will be able to play more to his strengths.

he got to drunk to even show up and it didn't last more than a couple weeks...
