It has been amended, but, to my knowledge, nothing has been abrogated.
It was the 3/5's compromise. Shitty deal all around but without it the Constitution may not have been been adopted.

They used the euphemism "other Persons" meaning those who were neither "free Persons" nor injuns.

Collossal waste of time and money. Those who use guns for criminal purposes won't register them. So "crime guns" would not be included in the registry in the first place. Who creates and maintains the database? The Federal Government? State Government? Local police department? Whoever is responsible, where does the money and manpower come from? A few years ago Canada started a National Gun Registry for long guns. The price tag is now over 2 billion dollars. That money would have paid for a lot of police officers and crime labs, and there is little evidence to show that the registry has done any good. (Handguns have been registered in Canada for decades, but that doesn't stop the gangbangers in Malvern and Jane/Finch from regularly killing each other)

In the US, the Gun Control Act of 1968 required dealers to log all ammunition sales. The result was the collection of a vast amount of data that proved useless to law enforcement. That record-keeping requirement was dropped in 1986.

Registration is little more than a feel-good excercise. The thought that there is an authority that knows where all the guns are is comforting to some, but in reality it would prove expensive and useless.

The rumors are true. I've always been upfront about it. Well, perhaps I should choose better words.

As posted previously, this survey of surveys, while showing that a majority favor gun ownership, also shows a majority in favor of stricter regulation. I'm willing to believe both statistics are true, and thus demonstrate that your position is not wholly mainstream.

New Laws:

1. All gun owners must submit a DNA sample at time of purchase.

2. At strategically placed police checkpoints, women will be required to empty the contents of their vagina to ensure that they are not concealing a weapon.

I'm tempted to go for an IQ test. If yours is below 100, you don't get to keep a gun. Should take care of most of the problems and wipe out 99.9% of the NRA membership.

Just because you have a few guns doesn't make you John Wayne, is it some fantasy of yours?
Personally I'd probably cack my pants as I have no sentinel experience apart from firing a few of my uncle's guns at paper targets

What about zombies? If we were attacked by screeching zombies I'd probably be too scared to even run.
