USA 1-1 Jamaica

Well, USA didn't look particularly good even through they've already qualified for the next round. The game actually had an atmosphere(unlike MLS games) because there were a buttload of Jamaican fans - flags and hats et al....reggaing in the rain.

Will now retire gracefully from thread where I don't belong (don't know anything about football.)

We try to discourage the word s**er in here...
Interesting article though. I disagree that all comentators in the UK ignored it though. Dave, you may remember a certain Archie McPerson taking a stand against the chants towards Mark Walters during the 80's? I remember one night after Sportscene at Tynecastle he addressed the issue from the pitch by holding up a banana he'd found at the corner flag. Walters took an absolute shitload of abuse from Scottish fans unused to seeing black players.

Your starter for 10 (that is not a clue)

Answer later.

"But Webbie..."

I said answer later !

Footie Predictions fixtures for tomorrow - the usual suspects for one week:
Arsenal v West Brom
Chelsea v Bolton
Middlesboro v Liverpool
Portsmouth v Man City
Doncaster v Stockport
Oxford v Rochdale
Hearts v Motherwell
Livingston v Aberdeen
Havant_Water v Hayes
Barrow AFC v Moor Green

I have been assured that last week's Stockie result was a fluke and normal service will be resumed.
Plus - only three things are guaranteed in life - death, taxes and Oxford losing.

One of my favourite discoveries over here - Seinfeld.
It was shown intermittently over on Channel 4 I think, never got into it because it wasn't on every week.
Local Fox tv station down here show daily reruns, addicted now.

(The Susie Episode)

Anyway no it isn't her.
Keep guessing.

You will not believe it when I tell you.
