It all boils down to this...

I watched it once, in the pictures because my mate had a couple of free tickets, so we went.
I left with an overwhelming sense of WTF and haven't been able to bring myself to watch it again since. I never did understand why everyone loved that series of films so much

Fantastic movie ... the second one was great, because Monica Bellucci was in it
... the third one was pretty dire.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the first Matrix was a masterpiece, but the second one was OK. I didn't like that seemingly endless scene where Neo was fighting 800 Agent Smiths. The Zion rave scene was also overly long and unnecessary. As for the 3rd movie, it was a big pile of crap and a huge disappointment, considering the anticipation and the fact that I specifically drove up to the Imax in West Palm Beach to see it.

We live in the Pacific Northwest (near Seattle) and while I'm not a fan of the weather, at all (I was born and raised in Southern California) my husband truly believes that the reason why he has acclimatized so well is from living up here. I just think its part of his nature, but I know he probably wouldn't have done well in the mid-west or deep south.
