Last case update was today for me. Interview was 6th September 2024.

I got the dreaded email today…..

I'm sorry! Seems rejections are the new norm now so not expecting any different for my case. What sort of docs did you bring to the appointment? I can't even remember what I brought/ if they even asked to see them.

Little update from me as I just travelled back to the USA for a second time on my H1B after a trip back to Europe. The first time I arrived back in the spring my I94 was for the length of my remaining h1b petition (my visa and waiver are 6 months less than the petition). when I printed out my most recent I-94 arrival, my length of stay was only as long as my visa, so I lost 6 months now for some reason since my initial entry.
(and wasnt even told when I waited in secondary).
will contact CBP to ask why-maybe its a new directive...

We got the email today from 6th too. Good news for us asked to submit dad’s passport 🤞🏻. We won’t be sending until next week as we’re currently in the states. So sorry to hear of the refusals.

Nothing for me, not even a case update as yet. last one was October 24, so puts me six weeks behind everyone else... if it works like that.

Will let you all know if and when i hear anything, in two minds about it at the minute, frustrating that people get the "didn't supply enough details" on a B2 visa, when the advice is just give what's asked for, i always take mortgage docs, work logs to prove I've been employed for so long, everything i can to essentially stop any argument, but never had the chance to hand anything over. I feel for everyone that gets a rejection, but more so for those folks where theres no logical reason for it, and obvs very pleased for those that get a visa.

Nothing from us yet - the medical was couriered to the embassy on 20/09 which puts us 2 weeks behind!

Where are you checking for case updates please?

The least they could do considering how long one has to wait for a decision is to simply ask he/she to upload proof of strong ties to home country before making the final decision. I also feel like at visa interviews despite the officer not being interested in supporting documentation you need to insist they take copies of your docs

not sure if links can be put on here. But you google usa visa status it should get you to the CEAC website put your details in and it will likely show refused with created ( day before interview) and last updated ( day of interview)
