Ah - from your TP post, they have asked you to submit your passport. Which does suggest that the waiver was approved and they haven't denied you outright. It's a positive step. We've seen they can still now deny for other reasons, but at least you've cleared the primary hurdle.

Hopefully some of us 6th Sept get some good news although looking at the spreadsheet, it's not looking good with all of the rejections recently
Have to say, I dont think I'll go through this again as the wait this time round has been excruciating.

Got the email yesterday!
Still in shock.
Interviewing officer requested an expedite on my behalf, but said it would be up to the ARO.
Passport sent off today. CEAC changed from "refused" to "administrative processing".

Oh I definitely need the D3 waiver. This is my second one. It looks like the expedite request was successful.
I'll update when I get my passport back - next week hopefully.
My immigration lawyer told me another one of their clients was approved for their D3 waiver last week, after interviewing in March. Seems like something is shifting - perhaps work permits are being processed differently to tourist visas.

Hello! New user here, wish I'd found this forum sooner to have an idea of wait times!
My husband was refused his L2 visa and recommended for a waiver on 9th September 2024. Yesterday (6th August) he received an email asking for him to submit his passport and another stating "Your visa application has been deemed issuable at the London Visa Unit". I've seen in the tracker a few people recently have had their visa then declined after sending their passport so enter a new worry in this process! Fingers crossed all goes well but trying not to be too optimistic. I've been in the US without him since November 2024 so hoping for a positive outcome.
