That Mexican that posted the video decrying Trump's wall because it wouldn't be high enough to stop the majority who come in by air was bang on, and it wouldn't stop the geese that brought down Sully's jet either.

Re: WTF in America
When I worked training hunting retrievers we rented labradors to a posh golf course. The groundskeepers would take them around in a cart and they'd chase geese off the greens and fairways.

My daughter's school bought 2 of the same to chase away the geese on the school playing fields.

Re: WTF in America
I live in northwest suburbia, but near several more rural towns. My usual grocery store is on the other side of town, nearer the big cities, because it has the selection I like and good prices. A few weeks ago I was roped into helping out someone in a Walmart parking lot. This Walmart is the biggest supermarket for miles and the nearest for any of the smaller towns, I've never been to it before. I had always thought that the "People of Walmart" joke was more based on drunk people late at night, but an afternoon hour at this one in the Pacific northwest made me reconsider. I'd seen the odd "character" at my usual supermarket, but this place was full of them. Weird haircuts, unusual make-up, wild fashion choices. And that was just the old people. I've been a part of counter-culture since I was a teenager, but this had a slant way-off from a punk show. Then there were the people who thought they were cowboys because they wore the boots and hats. Blaring country music. Raised trucks with the stars and bars. This store attracted every person for miles that thought they lived in Alabama just because they didn't live in a city. It was like cosplay for that duck hunting reality show. I've been to the rural towns many times and these people were rarely in the local stores there, even before this Walmart was built. It was not what I was expecting at all.
