I'd like to reassure you though, Caretaker, that it's purely visual and I'd still eat them because they really are supposed to taste good.

I mean, I eat hot dogs all the time and they are actually made out of arseholes and ball-bags.

2 nuns at the World's Fair bought hot dogs, one looked at hers and threw it in the trash. "What part of the dog did you get?", she asked.
I just wanted to illustrate which direction to slice it in.. no doubt un-necessary.

You hit one with your car, a moose will pretty much right the car off unless it's a brand new car. If not because of the damage it causes, it'll be the cost of stripping and cleaning out the inside of all the ticks that it throws off inside the car.

Plus, the eyes don't reflect car lights and them being quite tall makes it hard to see.

Good thing we don't get the around here. Though a deer will do enough damage if you hit a big enough one.

What's the significance of 'unless it's a brand new car'? Aren't new cars designed to 'collapse gracefully' as a passenger protection feature? That is, newer cars are safer but more likely to be written off due to an incident?

I know it's completely irrelevant, but the thought of a car collapsing gracefully to protect its driver made me laugh

After a colleague was in an accident recently, I heard that insurance companies routinely "write off" any vehicle where the airbags have deployed.

New or old car it will be a write off so no need to worry about cleaning out all the bugs inside.

I once saw the damage done to a car after it hit a deer. That was bad enough
