bloody hard finding a decent hatch, it's all saloon cars here...in terms of convenience, one's got more boot space and the other is easier to park in a small space, so which ever is more important I guess....

More room in the hatchback height wise.

The only sedan I'd own would be a Crown vic police interceptor.

I intend to buy one as they are cheap as chips and part galore. Plus it looks like the po-po are sat outside your house, that might be a good and a bad thing but we'll see.

Unless the would-be crooks are smart enough to look to see if there is a spotlight on the driver-side side mirror :p

I never driven a hatcback myself, only a coupe and a sedan. My current one is a sedan, don't have the need for trunk space atm and probably won't for time to come.

They all drive Magnum Chargers down my way...I'd love one of those :D

Used to drive Chevy Impalas....pretty meh profile as a lot of cars look like it, but the Vic, that's just a boat that little old grannies drive, or are now beaten up taxi's.

Haha no way! I thought they'd remove that just like they'd remove the light bars and sirens.

Going back on topic, the only hatch I was looking at buying after uni is a Suzuki Reno. If they only sold a hatcback here that looks like a Ford Mondeo :( too bad they killed the Contour/Mondeo here

The Taurus is close to the Mondeo. The "Limited" version is nice.

If that's the type of body style you're interested in you might want to look at the new Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback

Love my 2007 Mazda 3 5dr. Don't like the new shape for 2010 much though.

Now that's a hatchback I would like to own. That's looks pretty Eurostyle there, I don't like hatchbacks that look like a short version of a station wagon (saloon in limey speak ).

A station wagon is known as an estate car.

Why do you think it's acceptable to write 'in limey speak' when you accuse others of being 'offending and racist'?

The split nose 70 Trans ams are much more purist Trans Am than that plastic fantastic. Burt reynolds can keep that piece of shit.

As for Firebirds..67 and 68 .

An Eaton Fuller "crash" transmission that we phased out in Europe 15 to 20 years ago, too big for European roads, too many useless dials on the dashboard, aerodynamic as a housebrick, turning circle of the Nimitz, too many lightbulbs to worry about, crap fuel economy, cant close couple for streamlining,

"Dont forget about the 7inch exhaust tips" FFS its a truck not a 17yr old mexicans Honda Civic.

Sorry ABY US trucks do look the dogs bollocks...but underneath all the chrome .... they're just bollocks.
