Riviera...10 episodes, which we just started watching and liking. A little cheesy. Basically a rich woman suddenly finds out her husband who was killed was a bit of a shady character and has to take over if she wants to maintain the lifestyle.

Fearless. This is a bit of a cold drama. Lawyer working to clear the name of someone convicted of a sex crime. A lot of back story seems to be in the works from the first episode.

Have watched Riviera and Fearless both very good.

Not quite English TV, but interesting twist on the English language

"Understanding English for Amateurs" on Amazon Prime

Liar....is quite an interesting drama, revolves around a he said, she said, rape case.

Lego Masters....this is rather a lot of fun. Bake Off, but making things out of Lego, with a good mix of teams from kids to teachers and engineers.

Victoria, has started for a second series. Any one caught it yet? We have it lined up, but to many other things to see first.

We are watching Victoria. The best part about it - Rufus Sewell as Lord M makes another appearance.

Liar is OK so far. Better than season two of Doctor Foster.

For comedy, can recommend Quacks. Six half hour episodes on iplayer, and a second season has just been announced.

For thrills, Saving Lives at Sea, on the beeb, about lifeboat heroes. We live an hour's train ride from the coast so have a special fondness for the guys and gals who volunteer their time and sometimes their lives to save others.

Seemed to have taken off where it left off and still rather cheesy but fun.

Doctor Foster, it's a okay second series but not as gripping as the first series.

Stella, is back for another series, which the missus is happy about.

Rellik, only seen a couple episodes and it might have gotten off to mixed/meh reviews, but I still rather enjoyed it. Serial killer drama, set in reverse, from the capture.

Has anyone seen Escape? It's a C4 reality show, chucking a bunch of engineers on a deserted island with a staged plane crash, so see what they can create to survive.

New series of Louis Theroux on BBC iPlayer. Three programs about the USA. The first was a thoroughly disturbing one about heroin addiction. It would seem it's quite often brought about by dependence on prescription opiates which dry up.

A couple episodes in, and I kind of enjoyed it. Each week is a different accident and location with a different group of engineers. The first was the plane crash, the second was a mountain landslide.

The Last Post, just finished a 6 part series so I've been binge watching this. It's about a group of Brit MP's in Aden, just as things kick off. Really compelling stuff.

Robot Wars, also back and rather fun and cheesy if that's your sort of thing.

Has anyone seen Gunpowder? Sounds interesting, so I've got a few episodes lined up.

Last Post...watched the first ep...it was so so IMO...but will watch the rest upon your recommendation.

Watched Gunpowder...it was quite good. Not Game of Thrones good...but worth watching. It’s a little graphic at the beginning but I didn’t think it was too bad.

Gunpowder had me saying "omg omg no no no I can't watch this!"
Basically it shows in all gory detail what they did to men and women during the time when Catholics were hunted down, tortured and killed in really horrible ways. No wonder Guy Fawkes and his gang were pissed off enough to want to blow everyone up.
I don't like horror films or gore so it was a bit much for me. The rest of it was good though.
