Any chance for getting Alice back? Best TV "villain"* ever.

Not that great, very slow. First case is investigating something current based on a old death.

Lot of known Brit TV faces though.

Dates, is another new show. Each week follows a new couple on a blind date kind of thing. Bit of a drama, with a lot of tele and soap faces.

Few episodes in, but only saw the first one, bit slow that one.

Spent Friday evening and most of yesterday watching Broadchurch.

Great series and it only too about five minutes to forget I was watching The Doctor. Rory, on the other hand, took longer!!

For those interested without access to 'alternative means', it's premiering on BBC America on August 7th.

Yes, I know, but this is related to the UK show.

How can I put it in the other thread when it hasn't been shown here yet?

Duh.

We put new shows and reviews/recommendations in that thread for US TV programs. Same in this this but for UK TV programs. Just thought your post would be useful for those looking at that thread.

Here is a link to a thread currently running in the MBTTUK forum. I thought it may be useful as people who have moved back to the UK post recommendations for UK TV programs. The Fall looks interesting.

Yes, it's good. Good ol' British drama.

If you liked Prime Suspect, you'll like this. Same writers.

Interesting way to tell the story. It's on Netflix streaming too, by the by.

It's a little slow to begin with and very cold, but it is a good thriller.

I'm not so sure I really get or like the second storyline they have going though, but we'll see where that leads.
