Just watched "The Trip" on Netflix. Anyone who is homesick for the UK and wanting a bit of a laugh and spectacular scenery, might like this.

The Village
Anyone else catch that? Thought the first episode was rather slow to get going, but kind of enjoyed it once it got going.
Basically it's about this old bloke being interviewed about living his whole life in one village, over a 100 years, kicking off just at the start of WW1.
Some cracking scenery too.

Still got Broadchurch and Lightfields to watch...hopefully they will be better than The Village.

I gave up on the Village during the first episode. I was considering giving it another try but I shan't bother now.

I am also glad to see that the latest Scott and Bailey series is up to the usual standard.

It's hard to take her seriously in her police woman role. I keep expecting her to start snivelling and grovelling.

The Job Lots - Sitcom set in a job centre.
Vicious - Sitcom, good old cast of folks living in the same place for years.
Anyone caught either? We're so far behind tele, just wonder if either were worth catching.
Or what about "The Ice-cream Girls"? 3 part drama I think.
Really loved Broadchurch, didn't see that ending coming and there was a tag line that it's coming back, so not sure where a follow up storyline will go, but cracking series after a very slow first episode.
