Excellent. Thanks!

I was very disappointed to find that Prisoner's Wives is over already

Just watched "The Trip" on Netflix. Anyone who is homesick for the UK and wanting a bit of a laugh and spectacular scenery, might like this.

Basically it's about this old bloke being interviewed about living his whole life in one village, over a 100 years, kicking off just at the start of WW1.

Some cracking scenery too.
Finished watching The Village last night...what a disappointment. Very slow and boring.

Still got Broadchurch and Lightfields to watch...hopefully they will be better than The Village.

I gave up on the Village during the first episode. I was considering giving it another try but I shan't bother now.

Yeah, a bit too bloody grim for my liking. I must be terribly shallow!

I had the same opinion of The Village and still haven't made it to the end. You should enjoy the other two although i did find Lightfields a little confusing at times.
I am also glad to see that the latest Scott and Bailey series is up to the usual standard.

I see the new police woman in Scott and Bailey is the crazy mother of the odd lad from Prisoners Wives. The current storyline seems to be going down the

It's hard to take her seriously in her police woman role. I keep expecting her to start snivelling and grovelling.

I try at take comfort that it keeps the quality up, pretty much the same way it does with Sherlock. It a lesson that some US TV makers could learn - quality over quantity.

The Job Lots - Sitcom set in a job centre.

Vicious - Sitcom, good old cast of folks living in the same place for years.

Anyone caught either? We're so far behind tele, just wonder if either were worth catching.

Or what about "The Ice-cream Girls"? 3 part drama I think.

Really loved Broadchurch, didn't see that ending coming and there was a tag line that it's coming back, so not sure where a follow up storyline will go, but cracking series after a very slow first episode.
