Heading Out
A sit com that has the tech bint from Spooks and the dork from Trollied. She's supposed to a bit of a uber vet and all things going well, but about to hit 40 and unable to tell her folks she's gay, so her friends get her a life style coach type thing.
Will give it a quick punt I guess and see.

Re: UK TV Programs
Hi, I am a long time lurker but finally registered the other day.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with "british tv anywhere". The company has really reasonable rates but I don't know if they are trustworthy. I'm not at all tech-literate so I prefer something easy to use.
Thanks!

Watched the first 2 episodes of Mayday...so far it's disappointing. Very slow...every guy seems to be a suspect.

Re: UK TV Programs
Starts off with the group of friends, then goes to the accident, then flash back to the night out before you're left with the smash up and bodies and families trying to find out who survived and went where...
Till that point it was all fairly sedate but then got a bit hectic and set up nicely for clips of following episodes as recriminations about the accident and people trying to get on with things etc.
Does have potential this.

It doesn't really get much faster in episode 2 and 3. The only reason you carry on watching is because a part of you wants to know who did it and who was it.

Saw this and it was rather good, but very depressing.
Some cracking scenery in this.
Basically one mum takes her kid to Mozambique for a 6 months break, but doesn't bother with malaria drugs as doesn't think it that important and kid dies.
The other is a 24 year old son going out there to teach who thinks because he's young and strong that it won't kill him so he gives his drugs to the young kids at the school.
The parents then go on a bit of a crusade to raise awareness about malaria afterwards.

I do not know if it caught me just at the right moment, but this was excellent. Very moving. The British son character was very likeable, too likeable to get rid off so soon.
