Re: Tele
Blue Bloods is a great view of cop family life as well as a pretty unpredictable procedural.
It's intelligent, so I guess I can understand why some don't like it! ;) 5-O on the other hand, is mindless and you can usually tell whodunnit within the first five minutes, but the locations and some of the banter (but not the constant Chevy ad) make it good, brainless entertainment. |

Re: Tele
We've had this conversation before. As long as McGarrat continues to take his shirt off and Danno keeps his on, all is good.
Although, I'm finding the whole evil mother/lame girlfriend/constant impending doom for Kono a little tedious. |

Re: Tele
I was going to ask what 5-0 was...duh! :o
I watched several of the first episodes but thought it rapidly went down hill when the young girl detective was introduced. I find her character implausible and irritating. |

I see that hot on the heels of a "Blake's 7" remake, there are remakes of "Gavin & Stacy" and "The Tomorrow People" on the way. Now who's old enough to have watched the last one when it was first shown?

So i tuned in and watched... episode 1 and 2, and enjoyed it. It wasn't until about episode 4 or 5 that I realized that it was taking an hour at a time and the show was called 24 - and therefore was going to be 24 episodes..... I was furious.... (what a stupid ass for not realizing earlier :o) I didn't watch that much tv, and 24 weeks is almost half a year of being committed to a tv show. shortly after that I got rid of the TV altogether. |

This is true - embarrassingly so.... when 24 was advertised on telly I was in the UK and it looked pretty interesting.

I really enjoyed the first one. In real life, about 4 of those episodes would have just been stuck in the car with stop/start traffic :D |
