Smash

Recorded it as didn't think Mr Weeze would like it. Seems like it'll be pretty good to me. Enjoyed the pilot.

Saw an advert for Awake on NBC at the weekend. Not sure what its about but it's starring Jason Isaacs:wub: which is good enough for me to watch. Scheduled to start on March 1st.

I put it on the calendar in my phone so I don't forget. I miss my Sky red button.

He's playing a cop who had something happen and now he doesn't know if he's awake or dreaming and having issues when the two collide...seems a little far fetched and daft to me, so probably pretty good :D

Undercover Princes

This turned out to be better than I expected, as it was originally a BBC 3 show filmed in Brighton.

Sounds like the story of my life!

I've heard about that, does sound good, 2 series of it, her getting in and then once in power I think it was?

I'd love to watch this, but just don't have the time to read a subtitled show during the day and don't have the energy in the evenings any more

Do want to check out Lilyhammer though, has the chap from Sopranos, he's in witness protection in Norway, because he liked the winter olympics. Anyway, it's on Netflix.

Anyone else going to check that out?
It'll probably be gash, but sounds cheesy enough rubbish to be worth a peak

Oooh! Cannibal Holocaust, on free-to-air TV?

Well it is hard not to think of Cannibal Holocaust going in to this, what with found footage in the Amazon, but in the end it was more like Anaconda, but without the comedy of Jon Voight.

We may have to see how it pans out, but it can not decide if it wants to be cinema verite or not. We have the found footage of the missing TV personality/explorer and we have the TV footage of the crew that is filming the rescue mission, the show cuts between TV crew that is present in the show and the unseen real crew. The verite element is all very derivative and just reminds us of other examples, it may be a style that has run its course, at least for a while. Noises and movements from unseen foes just makes me think of Cloverfield, and I do not mean as some kind of comparison for reviewing the show, I mean while I was watching, I kept thinking: oh yes Cloverfield, but trees and not buildings.

"cheesy enough rubbish " it is; and I will give it another go, but I am not expecting anything great from this, but it might be entertaining enough drivel, while I check my emails and the like.

I agree with that...only seen the first episode, got the second one lined up.

Not sure how they can really string this out into 8 episodes, good enough story hook for a two parter but with 8 shows, sounds like a lot of filler rubbish to slow things down, which means mindlessly boring stuff.

OK you lot! you got me to look in to this. I see (and I do not think anyone else has mentioned) that it is being broadcast in America, on LinkTV (which I do not have access to -but very interesting channel it looks) but it is also broadcast online for two weeks after TV broadcast.

Episode 4 is online until Feb 10
Episode 5 is online until Feb 17
Episode 6 is on TV this Saturday
http://www.linktv.org/borgen
I can not check the stream at the moment as I have my VPN pointing at London and in the middle of downloading DVD 1 of Borgen.

I understand as episodes 1-3 are no longer viewable, that this info might be of limited help to people.

The Firm.

It might have been cancelled in the US, but it's still being shown in Canada, it's a Canadian show that's already been made, so if anyone still likes it, it's going up on eztv.it

The Firm has been cancelled in the US, but I think they are going to go ahead and show the entire series. They moved it to Saturday night. Bit of a shame because I thought it was not too bad.

Just seen that Lucy Lui has been cast as Watson in the US TV remake of Sherlock:blink:. I thought it was bad before
