Definately watch "New Tricks" its seriously funny...if you can, try and watch it from the beginning because to me the first couple of episodes were the best and had me in stiches..and I've been hooked ever since...

We've been watching Not Going Out on bbca which we thought was pretty good, they're showing the second series now, a bit of a daft comedy, but it's quite fun.

Not telly shows, but I can highly recommend a few Radio 4 shows. In particular Down The Line, which is a spoof radio phone in show, and quite possibly the funniest thing i've heard in years. Also, Just A Minute just started a new series, and that's always good for a laugh.

I just caught 'Top Gear' this afternoon. Who would have thunk the Bat Mobile an English car. Outstanding!!! I'm waiting for the 'new' episode this week. I think they're testing a Cadillac of all things. I'll tivo it just in case I miss it.

Most of my TV watching is through sites like UK Nova or through On Demand. I'm enjoying Gavin & Stacey and Top Gear at the moment, and will watch Primeval if i'm bored.
I don't see much in the new season that interests me, although I might give Life On Mars a chance, but I don't see it being a patch on the original, despite the great cast.

Current fave US shows are Swingtown, How I Met Your Mother, Friday Night Lights, and The Amazing Race.

And I always thought it was Telly, not Tele. ;)

Swingtown ends tomorrow which is a bugger.

Gavin and Stacey has been pretty amusing...weird though, but we like it...

Did anyone catch 90210 the other day? Was a two hour prem, but gave up after a couple of mins and was really rather a shower of spank...so it'll probably go on for years, again.

Fringe

Lastnight, new show with that bloke from Dawsons Creek...anyway, really strange show, but I kind of liked it, evils of government and corporate america doing naughty things I think.

Could be worth a watch till it gets canned.

Quite a few other new shows starting up, so anything tickle anyones fancy yet?

Wasn't it written by the same guy that wrote Lost, I wanted to watch it but my MIL stopped by for a chat.

I caught the last part of Fringe, seemed OK; but I did see that "Hole in the Wall" gameshow after... too many men in way-too-tight outfits
