Also both enjoying Orphan Black... Took an episode or two, but it kinda snuck up on us. Hooked now.

Oh bollox. We watched the first one weeks ago, and never watched the others. Last night I asked my husband if we were ever going to watch the 8 sat on the planner, and we decided neither of us had really liked the first episode and deleted them:rolleyes:

The actress (Tatiana Maslany?) playing the lead role(s) is doing an excellent job. She's playing 4 - 5 leading characters currently, all of whom come across as completely different characters despite looking (mostly) the same as each other physically. The two (or more) of her on screen at once is also being handled really well.

Season two just got the green light also. :)

Mrs N liked it right off... Took me 2 or 3 to really get into it all but really enjoying it now.

Not heard of Orphan Black or Longmire. After searching the TV programs I have set the DRV to record past episodes of OB...but I have to pay for past episodes of Longmire...even though we subscribe to BBCA. :frown:

Yeah I didn't like it to start with but it's warmed up. Now my daughter wants to watch it and it's quite hard to explain the plot for the ones she's missed

Yeah. It really is something you need to watch from the beginning.

Subscribe to A&E too. Yes to look at old episodes on TV using Verizon Vios. I try using the iPad...may be free on there.

Ah, okay. I have directv and I think you can watch it "on demand". Not that I have a clue how to do that...

Amazon Prime have it for 2 bucks per episode. It was on Xfinity (catchup), but not sure if it's still available now.

Definitely took a couple episodes to warm up and get into what it was about, but it's been great since and getting quite twisted with weird back stories.

This chick was in Heartland, if you've seen that...she was a cowgirl chick and very wholesome type in that, so this is a bit different :D

Late as usual. Longmire is on Netflix. A month there would be the cheapest way of watching it if it's not on an "on demand" service. There are probably two week trials floating around too.

Longmire (Season one) is gone from our On-Demand now (XFinity), so either Netflix or Prime is probably the way to go.

We started watching 'The Shadow Line' on demand on Audience Network, very good but it was withdrawn before we finished watching the series.

Game of Thrones

I feel like I just saw hundreds of years of storytelling culture by thrown on the fire. Stories are not supposed to go like that! maddening but amazing at the same time.

I haven't read the book, but my missus has, and kudos to her for not spilling the beans.

Has the last episode of S3 Game of Thrones now been shown in the US? Thought I would catch the last episode here (we move on 8th June), but due to the Bank Holiday in UK, Sky missed a week, so episode 9 is on tonight! All my planning down the drain. Have read the book so know what happens, but wanted to see how it was handled on screen. :frown:
