It started again last night. Haven't watch it yet though. Fun for us Oregonians to see what part of Portland is standing in for Boston this week.

On a slightly surreal note, was out at lunch at a local microbrewery-pub today and this woman walked in who was the spitting image of Joyce Barnaby. My wife did a double take and said "I know her but I can't place where from." When I told her, it took her 5 minutes to stop laughing.

Aye, it's like watching Fringe, you see the big scenes and know some of the buildings, but actual locations, not in MA that's for sure, hell, Worcester looks pretty nice and livable if the show was to be believed :D

Bob, did you stick with "Saving Grace" until the finale last night?

what did you think?
I almost cried....until they cut the music and jumped to the next program :frown:

Naaa....didn't get the chance, we're a few episodes behind, but have them on the dvr.

Just went really weird at the start but it has a way of grabbing you that show.

I know, there were a couple of times this season that I almost gave up on it, cos I got a bit lost, but all the characters are so watchable.

Memphis Beat

Anyone catch it? TNT, sounds a bit cheesy as a summer filler, but it could be interesting.

Did anyone else watch "Justified" all the way through?

I just caught up on all the finales that hub recorded for me and that was one of them. Thought the series was pretty good. Kinda slow but quirky. Some cool characters

I don't know how well it did so not sure if there will be another season

Bit daft and formulaic, but fun all the same, will give it a bit of a go.

Also saw "Rookie Blue" the Canadian cop show. Bit daft, but also kind of fun. Has potential anyway.

Leverage and Hung are back, anyone catch those?

RB reminded me of Flashpoint...also filmed in Toronto. You can immediately tell they are not US series.

I've not seen Leverage and Hung before but saw the previews. Problem is I tend to miss many of them because I don't regularly surf all the channels and rarely look at TNT since my cable provider moved all the channels numbers around.

Aye, because they're usually not shit :D

Nice that they take a punt with a lot of unknown names too, even though a lot of faces are recognisable from Canadian tele.

As for Hung, it's weird, worth a punt and won't miss much from the first series.

Leverage, it probably isn't worth bothering with at this point, first series was good, second was okay but tailed away a bit, a lame version of Hustle and with out the back story, it's a little boring.

I'm enjoying the new series of Leverage. Lie To Me is back too and has been pretty good so far (though tonight's ep was a bit average).

Liking Lie to Me as well, not seen this evenings episode yet, but it's certainly been a little bit more darker so far and nice to see a bit of history behind the characters.

Nice little touches in this, with the PG Tips in the kitchen and photo's in the old Oxo box.

I never really got into that series...gave up after the first couple of episodes. It was probably because there were so many other series starting at the same time and I can't keep up with watching all of them. From what you've said though I'll give it another try...thanks.

About all I do now is channel surf... a while back I came across one of those bog-standard police dramas on USA, and instantly recognized the Toronto waterfront. But from the way the pan shots were edited it was clear they were desperate NOT to let the CN tower be shown - they didn't want it to be TOO obvious it wasn't an American city :D
