Re: Tele
There's been an excellent series running on PBS on Queen Victorias' reign, and the station "Me TV" has been playing Burns and Allen late.

Re: Tele
The Newsroom.
Who mentioned this? Anyway, just saw the first episode and really rather liked it, bit of a surprise and it was certainly pretty slow to get going. Basically it's about a news anchor who's on a bit of a slide and not very popular with the folks he works with and gets another chance to host a new news show, which kicks off with some interesting new and old colleagues. Kind of a nice look at how the lead story gets put together behind the scenes. |

Twenty Twelve
Quite funny in a gentle way  |
Re: Tele
Our local PBS had this on Masterpiece Theater last night
http://www.huliq.com/10282/inspector...ries-young-man It was really very good, but then Inspector Morse has always been one of my favourites. It tells the story of young Morse and how he ends up in Oxford Loved it:thumbsup: |

Max, the medical examiner is a ringer for the original fat bloke and a lot of other little easter eggs. |
Re: Tele
Perception
New show on TNT...seems familiar in idea, about a head prof who consults for the FBI using his insights into the human mind, while also trying to tame his demons of multiple personalities. Little slow and a bit meh in the first episode but it has potential to pick up a bit I guess, so will give it another go I think. |
Re: Tele
White Collar is back on tonight. I still enjoy this show, despite it being quite gentle and easy going. There is good chemistry between the characters and I'm looking forward to where the show goes after the ending of the last series.
