A BBC America production, set just after the US civil war...bunch of Irish cops, sorting out the murders and robberies and being slightly dodgy at the same time.

It's surprisingly not shit, well worth giving it a few episodes, as the some of the characters are a little stiff, but might have time to grow. Certainly has a interesting storyline to start out with and half decent looking sets.

A lot of faces you'll recognise from various UK and Canadian shows.

I wanted to watch that but it's not showing up on my list. Just a 'making of' thingy.

Just caught the first 5 minutes, I have vetting duties, it has passed the first hurdle and I will watch the whole show with the missus later. It looks like they have tried to get the spirit of things, but well 5 mins is only 5 mins. Will follow up later if no one else does.

.....Well it is not the original (obviously), but it is a million miles from the usual awful tripe of teen sex comedy genre made in America like Porkys, that just leave me cold.

I laughed a good few times.

BBCA have been hammering it out like crazy, I'm surprised it hasn't been repeated to buggery....

So anyone catch "Coma"?

It's a 4 parter, based on the book, that the movie was originally based off of...sounds rather daft in tele form, but could be fun :)

I didn't watch it but my daughter did, her take on it was that it followed the same script "So why didn't they just show the UK version?"

New Dr Who - this makes me happy. :)

I have also been watching Lie to Me on Netflix, pretty good, but I'm getting ready for the impending sudden cancellation that I already know about :(

World Without End.

It's the Ken Follett, follow up book/mini series to Pillars of the Earth.

8 part series this. The book was really good and the first mini series, so hoping this is good too.

Based in the same location, but 150 years later.

Just saw the first episode...it's very cheesy and I'm not quite sure how they're going to be able to stretch it out beyond 2 episodes....but I enjoyed it.

Rather slow to get going though, but some good stuff....and great cast line up of old folks :)

Thanks for the heads up, 'Pillars of the Earth' was great, if 'World Without End' is half as good, it will be worth the watch.

Anyone catch "Go On"? The new Perry comedy?

It looks shit from the ad, but some folks on twitter seem to like it...but don't know if I can be bothered to give it a shot.

Second episode had a lot more action to it, but like the first, there were slow lulls....still can't see how they're going to stretch it out, 2 episodes would have been enough.

Anyway, Revolution.

Just saw the online preview first episode and was surprised that it wasn't as shit as expected. Kind of fun, but doesn't seem to original, bit of a mash up of a bunch of recent shows that were all canned, so we'll see how this goes, but pretty good cliff hanger to the episode. Worth a punt.

I thought it was finished.

I'm not sitting through 2 more episodes of that.
