Finally saw Dallas.

It was way over the top, the story lines seem shit, the new characters seem shit...but then just towards the end of the first episode, it grabs you, as the old characters bring it back to life.

Saving Hope, that's also growing on us a little, even if it is pretty daft.

Knots Landing! I liked that one. It was on daytime TV (UK)back in the early 80's when I was at home with my babies;)

Me too! We were living in TX but somehow Dallas wasn't nearly as interesting as KL, perhaps because KL was on every day when the little ones had their naps.

Suits.

It's back for a second series....the show about the lawyer who didn't go to law school.

It's a bit slow this time around, but we'll see.

We got free showtime this weekend and all the shows were on.

I watched Dexter - interesting...
Homeland - dvr'd it - will watch the next couple of weeks - thoughts?
Nurse Jackie - starting to watch today. Very dry sense of humour so far.
Couldn't get into the Big C or The Borgias.

Damages comes back next month - looking forward to that.

Season 2 of Falling Skies started last night on TNT. I think it's not bad.

Love Dexter...although I think it's floundering a little now...same with Nurse Jackie.

Couldn't get into Big C. Haven't watched The Borgias. Homeland...started off OK...but Claire Danes is soooooo annoying and the story line is implausible.

.

People did not seem to like it on BE. I did, not a classic, but worth a watch. I like that it had the balls to make a potential terrorist* the central character (the way Dexter did for a serial killer) and to give him some legitimacy for his potential actions.

*No spoiler to say that the main character is suspected of being a terrorist, I have tried to avoid saying which way the show chooses for him.

The Big C was good, took a couple episodes to warm up to the characters though. Great end to first series, second series was okay and should have ended, this third series is crap.

Homeland shouldn't have been renewed for a second series, way to predictable and very dull for the most part after the first couple of episodes. Ends quite strongly in the last episode though.

Dexter is great, then dull and shite, then good again. The last series really should have been the end of it.

We watched Falling Skies last year, it's ok but not great.
Person of Interest has been renewed for next year, I enjoyed that one.

Well, I just finished Homeland and she is the WORST thing about this show. Every time she appeared I'd tense up - had to finish it though since I like the English bloke although it was predictable. Don't think I can handle her in the second season.

Not a fan of Falling Skies at all, trying too hard to be realistic - OH makes me watch it - payback for the zombie movies/tv shows I make him watch.

Saw a couple repeats of a show called Drop Dead Diva - entertaining gibberish.

Also caught an episode of Dance Moms - oh, dear God! The teacher is mental! And, erm... in what world does she know how to dance?
