Further, Dinklage is a vegetarian and a pervert. Is this the kind of person you want your children watching on TV? Here he is promoting bestiality. |

All advertising of course. Some of them are: Revenge Patricia Cornwell Body Farm and another one or two that I can't think of now. Body Farm is good, but a little grim, it's mentioned in the Nova thread. No idea about Patricia Cornwell though. |

Revenge gets canned and isn't that great, nice idea but it just drags on.

Re: Tele
Harry's Law.
Last episode was very uninspiring and a bit of a tepid end to the series and show. Little bit of a sad storyline, but it was nice they brought back one of the original characters for a cameo. Missing was also rather a tepid, lame end to the series and show, but they were obviously hoping to get picked up for a second series with the post end cliff hanger weren't they  |
Re: Tele
If you have access to BBC iplayer theres a brilliant series about London's markets on at the moment. Last night I watched one about Billingsgate fish market, completely fascinating and entertaining.

Re: Tele
Continuum
It's Canadian, I think based off a comic. Kind of meh, but we'll see...about a cop who ends up back in time, to our period from 2077 and fighting criminals who have travelled back. Bit like Alcatraz in scope I suppose, but with a little more potential. |
Re: Tele
Hatfields and McCoys
3 part drama about the family feud in Kentucky/WV towards the end of the 19th century, that almost brought about another civil war. It's on the History channel, 2 hour episodes, final episode today as they played them all on the trot. A little brutal, but not overly gory and quite a good little drama this. I think the anniversary is coming up as there's a movie coming out in the summer. Has Kevin Costner, Berrenger, Bill Paxton and a whole bunch of Brit faces you'll recognise from various tele shows. |

I saw the previews and thought it looked interesting...but missed the first couple of episodes. Thanks for reminding me...I've set the DVR to record all three episodes.
Then a fight here, a fight there, things quickly grow out of hand as these two big families go to war with each other. |
Re: Tele
Comcast has secretly changed my channel line-up. I used to not have BBC America and now I do, although a few other channels I can no longer get (Nat Geo is one)

"The Borgias" or "Borgia"
Both 2011, one Showtime, one an import on Netflix. Anyone seen them to compare? |

I've seen a bit of "The Borgias", which I thought was comically bad.

Thanks Sally, I watched the first episode of that Showtime one last night, it seemed a bit heavy handed with the dialogue, but I put that down to a first episode and the producer a little bit worried about bringing some viewers up to speed about a family that they may know little about (American TV never did over estimate its audience); but I thought it still had potential, but maybe not; comically bad is never a good recommendation.
