Just before I moved to the States I changed the ISP at my folks' to a cheaper one thinking they wouldn't need the data, now I'm back for a month I've exceeded that data.

Am currently watching The Hour on DVD. It's an excellent show and I hope they bring it back for more episodes. (I have a feeling it was a one-off thing though.) Love Ben Whishaw.

I loved that when it first came out, but I do think it is showing signs of its great age.

Sort of, but I rather like the theatrical feel.

Revenge

Anyone still watching that since it came back? It was always a bit poo, but it's really turned into a runny dog turd now hasn't it, with the extending of the plot line, which was dumb to begin with.

Still watching it like a knobend though.

Hawaii 5-0

That's shit too these days and what was the point of that cross over episode? They should have ended it when the druggy chap had to go into rehab as it has been particularly shit without his character in it.

Only watched the first episode of both those shows. Did stay in the hotel they use for filming Hawaii 5-0 this year though, the hotel was shit and the only good thing about it was the amazing Hawaii 5-0 cocktail they were doing. So the show gets a  for inspiring the drink.

It was pretty good for the first 2 or 3 episodes, now it's turned into a sopa opera. I'll watch it til the end of the season though, just cos I've invested all that time

I think traditional TV is dead, at least it is in our house.
It has been about a month now that the remote for the set top box thing has been AWOL; and nobody is bothered, it gets noticed that it is not where it used to be when someone is cleaning up, but no one can be bothered to look for it.

Some Internet providers cap how much data you can download in a month. Our local monopoly limits its customers to 100Gb per month.

I actually never turn on TV to watch and we have only basic cable. I do, however, watch a lot of stuff that is on TV, but I prefer to buy the DVD or stream it. I will not watch anything that has commercials.

Same here.

I quite liked it till the break, that seemed to wrap things up nicely...now the new twists in story line, the running away story and trial storylines are all a bit meh.

I did read somewhere that those episodes were tacked onto the initial order, hence the break. They should have left well alone.

On the cancellation front, Alcatraz and The Finder got the chop. Cougar Town is off to TBS.
