Plus I caught Web Therapy - and I never really laugh at it but for some reason I was in stitches at it the other day.

Mmmm, maybe its the new medication...

It's no biggie if you do like it. I just want to hit the lead in the face with a kipper. But the world would be a terrible place if we all liked the same stuff!

:D I feel the exact same way about that Maniston chick (jennifer) - I cannot STAND that woman and every time she's on the telly, I nearly kill myself trying to change the channel - same with magazines - I need to rip out the pages - that bloody fug face - ugh!

On another note - the new episodes of Foyle War - is it something you need to start from the first series to get (like breaking bad) or can I start at last week's episode?

I reckon you'd pick up the idea OK.

I enjoyed the last ever episode of Dexter...even if the one of the final scenes looked very fake.

Final episode in the first series of Ray Donovan did not disappoint.

I will have to watch it but I thought he said to the MI5 woman that he needed Sam for that reason.

Anyone catch:

By Any Means? It's done by the Hustle folks, and sounds like they've just replaced conmen with dodgy but well meaning cops in a very Charlies Angels kind of setting.

Also, Saf3 - This is a emergency services type drama, sounds terrible, done by the folks who did Baywatch, but it does have the Dolph, so might be worth a check just for that bit of cheese, before it gets cancelled...

With kid one at school, kid two napping, gave this a shot.

That was a wasted 45 minutes that would have been better spent hammering rusty nails through my nut sack.

Quite possibly the worst show I've seen this year. The acting was monumentally shit, the storyline was epically bad and the characters were beyond dire.

How this made production is incredible. They should have burned this in a pit.

Sad to see Dexter end.

Spoiler:
I thought he would end up dead along with Hannah and/or Harrison, not a bad compromise to get him to lose those he loves anyway

I'm not a fan, but saw some of the reviews of the finale on IMDB, and there appears to be lots of people unhappy with the way it ended. Average rating of only 6.6, which is the lowest rated episode of the entire show.

Spoiler:
It was a comparatively soft ending. Certainly more to a point than the Sopranos, but no way did it make hard choices like say a series of GoT does. No real surprises, but I can live with what they went with

Spoiler:
It was certainly left wide open in case they decide to bring Dexter back.

Re: Tele

So what are the thoughts on the new run of shows?

The Blacklist - Someone who is wanted, gives himself up and ends up helping the feds, sounds very cheesy, but could be fun if you wanted another cop show...

Hostages - About hostages, but could be interesting, certainly looks like it might have potential if they don't drag it out.

Serangoon Road, it's a Aussie show, but sounds good, in the 60's set in Singapore, private eye kind of thing.

Also, shows that are back, Castle....kind of still liked it but really not liking the new characters terribly much, so we'll see how long that lasts.

Haven, it's going in a weird direction, thought it was nicely wrapped up in the last series, but it's still got some watch value and keeps you interested.
