You would always want to sit behind me. I never recline my seat on a flight.

First thing I do when I get on the plane. Establish boundaries early on and then defend them against any possible invader. :frown:

I don't want to be dealing with knees in my back. I'm usually more comfortable sitting up anyway, I can't really stretch out my legs anyway, there seems little point in reclining my back.

Leg room is fine for me (I'm a short git). Upright is too "upright" for me. I like it about 1/2 way .. Not full recline but that extra couple of inches makes all the difference.

My back likes me better if I have the seat straight. I do the same in the car as well.
