Blame the store not the shopper.
'cause what peeves me is stores that do not have little trolly corals, just across from said store, just across the internal busy mall highway, but right where you end up having to park, because, when I get to my car, put child in child seat, bags in the back; I am not getting kid back out of the seat, so I can take the trolley back. |

What you can do is put the shopping in the car, push the cart back to the corral, take child out of the cart, either carry or walk child back to the car, done.
The whole mall is a mess, badly designed, trolley corals being the least of its problems. Its crazy to have a mall where by design so many people drive/park shop to shop. You have to drive around in odd routes to get out, as the designed routes will leave you stuck. The little 'pedestrian' area does not get used, because its a route pedestrians do not take. The whole mall is a peeve of mine. |

Don't get me started - that's just 'lazy mclazy on a lazy day' stuff - there is NO excuse, NONE... there is only 1 explanation - LAZINESS.
You could walk your fat arse from the car, to the store entrance and extract a trolly from the big pile, fanny about the store getting what ever it is that makes you fat(ter), pay for it (probably) and then take it to your car, so clearly mobility is not the problem. OK, your brain may have gone funny as soon as you unloaded the trolley. But judging by how much apparent laziness there is, the statistics are not on your side, you lazy arse, so... TAKE THE TROLLEY BACK... And don't tell me it's within your rights blah blah blah blah to leave it where you like - it's also within your rights to to take it back, and within my rights not to find the frickin thing in the one remaining parking spot left in the entire parking lot, that I'm trying to park in, especially when it's 115'F+ outside, you lazy wankers. OK, I'm done now. Sorry I had a little too much wine (whine?) last night, and together with my colleagues (a business dinner - the worst kind?) we did put the world to rights - just can't remember today what the solution was... ... but I'm sure it involved death to all lazy arses who leave trolleys lying around. Arses. OK, I really do think I'm done now. Honest. Peace Brother/Sister. |

Re: Pet Peeves?
People that talk on their mobile phones ALL THE FRIGGING TIME!!!
When they are parked in a carpark why do they not make their phonecall, finish it and THEN set off???? Noooo they have to dial the number, wedge the phone between ear and shoulder, then proceed to back out of their parking spot in front of you, drive super slowly and weave all over the place while talking. Also those people on buses or trains who are notbeingabletotalkonmycellphoneinpublicapohobic... . they get on, make a phone call, subject you to 10 minutes of YEAH, YEAH, YEAH OH I KNOW HAHAHA YEAH YEAH YEAH... then say OK YEAH I'LL CATCH YOU LATER.... then hang up, then make ANOTHER CALL... but i think the most annoying people (besides those that text and drive) are the ones who come to the check out on their phone... i used to make a point of loudly asking them if they found everything ok, if they wanted a bag, needed any help out to their car, and loudly telling them the total. proper annoying! I wish we could have mobile phone free days where noone would use their phone .... it would be wonderful. |
Re: Pet Peeves?
separate subject completely but i just had one so it reminded me... I hate those itches that you can't find... they seem to be inside you or something, you will feel an itch around your knee or something but can you find it? Can you hell!

 I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about half of the rest of the people that work here. They have drawers with boxes of pens that don't work, mugs with the same. You walk out there to see someone, they aren't at their desk, you pick up one of their bloody useless pens to write a note to them and... you have to waste effort throwing the damned thing across the room in frustration. And they wonder why I email everyone instead?
I'm no better. Though now I only have one black and one blue ball pen because the rest got nicked

I laughed at a bumper sticker that said, "would you drive better with that phone up your ass?" I want one of those. |

I really hope he was in his wife's car  In general, bumper stickers are a peeve though - have you ever seen one that isn't ridiculously pretentious, self righteous or downright annoying? |
