Don't get me started - that's just 'lazy mclazy on a lazy day' stuff - there is NO excuse, NONE... there is only 1 explanation - LAZINESS.

You could walk your fat arse from the car, to the store entrance and extract a trolly from the big pile, fanny about the store getting what ever it is that makes you fat(ter), pay for it (probably) and then take it to your car, so clearly mobility is not the problem.

OK, your brain may have gone funny as soon as you unloaded the trolley. But judging by how much apparent laziness there is, the statistics are not on your side, you lazy arse, so...

TAKE THE TROLLEY BACK...

And don't tell me it's within your rights blah blah blah blah to leave it where you like - it's also within your rights to to take it back, and within my rights not to find the frickin thing in the one remaining parking spot left in the entire parking lot, that I'm trying to park in, especially when it's 115'F+ outside, you lazy wankers.

OK, I'm done now.

Sorry

I had a little too much wine (whine?) last night, and together with my colleagues (a business dinner - the worst kind?) we did put the world to rights - just can't remember today what the solution was...

... but I'm sure it involved death to all lazy arses who leave trolleys lying around.

Arses.

OK, I really do think I'm done now.

Honest.

Peace Brother/Sister.

Time zones - a pet peeve of mine sometimes.

I have 2 guys who work for me - 1 in Reading, UK and the other in Hong Kong, which is, er, well, somewhere in the vicinity of Hong Kong - I think that's how it works.

Anyway - time zones - means that conference calls have to be done at 6 or 7am my time, very late at night HK time, just so we can give the illusion we're a well-oiled team doing team things. In fact we're just oiled, and too busy talking crap about 'not work' for too long before remembering we're supposed to be discussing work.

I'd feel less bad about it if there was no time zone issue, or if I rescheduled the call to the middle of the night my time... but being the boss should have at least one perk...

anyway, if we all had the same time zone - wouldn't that require a flat Earth, or a really thin one or something (could be a problem for the larger people around here...)?

But on the other hand, I can use it as an excuse not to talk to arses in different countries...

So I'm not sure which way to call it really...

... and THAT really peeves me.

Do I need therapy? What form should it be?

I remember those IKEA Bevaras! Haven't seen them in a while. Funny how, when our daughter decamped to set up her own household, she left all kinds of useless crap in her room and the loft, but she took half our good kitchen stuff.

Hmmm...snow ploughs who block off the dip in the pavement at cross walks, so you can't push the pushchair across the road.

People who when they plough out their driveway don't push the snow out onto the road or off to the side, but leave it blocking the pavement.

People who break a bottle of glass and leave it across the pavement without even attempting to move it to the side.

Bundling up in warm winter clothes to find out when you get outside, out of the shade, it is in fact quite warm....or when getting some place like the shops and having to debundle the coats or roast your knackers off.

How the car can be colder than the outside first thing in the morning.

You'll be suggesting we throw out egg cartons and old jam jars next.

What a ridiculous suggestion. What would we make the beaver traps with?

On that note.. having a mug that's full of pens that don't work. What's the point? :frown:

Aye, but can you bring yourself to throw any of them out, lest they suddenly spring back to life again in the future?

Blame the store not the shopper.

'cause what peeves me is stores that do not have little trolly corals, just across from said store, just across the internal busy mall highway, but right where you end up having to park, because, when I get to my car, put child in child seat, bags in the back; I am not getting kid back out of the seat, so I can take the trolley back.

I think you need to start sharing your free pens, with us penless people :frown:

My sister brought me them from England (we don't have an Ikea near us) a couple of years ago. None of mine have broken and I keep my stash safe in a drawer in the kitchen.

In that case you have a point, but I've seen them dumped in spaces two over from a corral, in a car park that has one every 10 or so spaces. Definitely no excuses there.

They stick up your nose when you try to drink your tea - that's the problem. :frown:
