Re: Pet Peeves?
People that have their ****ING television on super loud!!! (My neighbour YES NEIGHBOUR HAS A U) stupid American spell check.
While I am on the subject of my idiot neighbours, what ever happened to disciplining your children?? Their children have invented a fun new game: 'lets run up and down the stairs with roller blades on'. The stairs outside MY apartment, not their apartment... then theres 'lets run in and out of our apartment and see how hard we can slam the door' oh and not forgetting, 'lets run up and down the apartment at 1 o clock in the morning while shrieking' Sounds like the bloody T-rex running! My mother would have grabbed me and sat me down until i calmed down. Parents used to teach kids how to respect other people, but then again when the parents don't respect other people how the hell can the kids learn to? |

That reminds me of the time I saw a bloke driving a car with the bumper sticker reading: "if you're going to ride my ass, at least pull my hair".
I really hope he was in his wife's car  In general, bumper stickers are a peeve though - have you ever seen one that isn't ridiculously pretentious, self righteous or downright annoying? Bumper stickers? I like the provocational ones... yeah, that's completely out of character for me, I know. |

As for parents, I saw a moron outside Amscot shaking the disabled parking sign back and forth trying to get it out of the ground a few months ago.. in front of his two young kids, while apparently waiting for his wife or girlfriend to come out. If you teach them to be idiots, then they'll become idiots. |
Re: Pet Peeves?
GOOGLE!
They never ask or tell people they intend to change things we use everyday and like the way they are... esp when they change them for the worst. They don't offer choices of would you like it this way or that, they just change it. The new Gmail, I just deleted 3 messages, "Are you sure you want to delete these messages?" 'yes' "You just deleted 3 messages... Undo?" Well they're not ****ing deleted then are they if i can click UNDO!! They need to stop storing peoples shit when we delete it! |
Re: Pet Peeves?
Dishwashers...just how crap are they!
Current one is just a standard boring one, but previous apartment had a really posh looking one...both pants. What is it with a glasses coming out of the machine looking worse than when it went it, with that fecal matter at the bottom of the glass? Complete inability to wash baby bottles and why is it do they look like a gorilla has jazzed off into the thing when you take them out of the machine? Drying machines....that lint trap, how minging is that? And what the hell is happening to all the clothes to create that monster? Bra straps and velcro straps that create a huge monster of clothes bundled together that you can't separate. The way that after bringing everything up from the basement, you always find at least one shirt or trouser leg that is still damp. Wrinkle free shirts which still need to be ironed, seriously, WTF is the point of that then? |

Also those people on buses or trains who are notbeingabletotalkonmycellphoneinpublicapohobic... . they get on, make a phone call, subject you to 10 minutes of YEAH, YEAH, YEAH OH I KNOW HAHAHA YEAH YEAH YEAH... then say OK YEAH I'LL CATCH YOU LATER.... then hang up, then make ANOTHER CALL...
They chat it all out over the phone and once they meet, don't actually have anything to say. I can't even think of 5 minutes worth of stuff to chat to my mother about over the phone, so how can people babble for hours on end on the phone. |

Those get my goat, the first, well I'll make double sure not to crash into you, the second, he's probably still doing lines of coke and bonging buckets of weed and I don't give a shit. And why do folks with those stickers usually drive big family cars....double knobshites. |

Bras are no different unless you're a poncy and expensive Agent Provocateur number, in which case you can probably afford a maid to do the washing....or you've got no boobs and have a push up, those can't go in the dryer, the gell makes a mess. |
