Just a plastic sleeve of sausage meat, shaped like a giant sausage. Usually a 1lb packet, about 2.5" wide and maybe 6"-7" long.

It's OK. Thanks to the miracles of the internet, you can now indulge yourself in the full richness of the Walmart experience on line.

Reminded me of an oldie but goodie. Found it by searching my emails definitely worth a relook.

America - where the brand of sausage is as important as the bit where she stuffs it in her hoohaa in a supermarket.

This is similar to the one I have about a loaf of bread not being able to fit two slices of bread side by side into a toaster oven...Not being able to fit a regular sandwich into one of those sandwich bags.
You only have one thing you're designed to do bag, WTF.

Could that be the reason they make different size bags? My good lady keeps about 4 different sizes of ziplock bag for just such occasions, the largest of which could house a small roast chicken...or are we talking 'Man vs food' type sandwiches?
