Religious people who think it's OK to 'comfort' atheists by telling them God takes those he loves best and they're smiling down at you from heaven.

there are not enough swearwords for just how much this annoys me

I am so relieved I didn't have to deal with crap like that when my mum died. People may have been punched.

Toothbrushes. Why do they have to change all the time so that I can never buy the same one twice? Every two months I go to buy a toothbrush and have to pick a new one with some new fangled handle or extra long bristles in the front or back or middle whichever is deemed to be the latest and greatest trend.

Top Tip:

Buy as many as you can when you find the one you like:nod:

I am guilty of this. My bathroom cabinets have lots of new toothbrushes, plus my dentist always gives me two new ones every 6 months when I visit (expensive brushes!)

This. Back when we were in the US my wife bought a whole carton of toothbrushes somewhere as it was going cheap. We are still working our way through them now 10 years later.

I buy them every time the store puts them on for 99 cents, Colgate brand. I'll buy 4 or 5 at a time. There are certain things I will not buy for full price, tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant. I always buy 2-3 when they are on sale for 1-2 dollars.

Good tip and I have thought of it but I don't know if I like it til I've tried it and I never like it as much as the one before because they all take a few brushings to get used to by which time my simple mind has checked it off the shopping list. Clearly I need a new toothbrush buying strategy.

P.S. You have a very generous dentist

I always wondered why electric toothbrushes cost hundreds of dollars. They might vibrate 15 ways to Sunday, but they are still just a couple of levers attached to a motor. Got myself a cheapo electric one since it is much easier to brush my back teeth, only $8.
