But then they would be in the wrong thread as well. Maybe we should just have one big thread with everything in it.

So I have to use my time in the US to vent my peeves on here? But I'm too busy when I'm there and have more time while I'm here in the UK.
Besides, it's more stereotypically correct moan while I'm here.

a piece of chocolate cake is being devoured at this moment.

Well that would solve the problem, perhaps.

Lack of cake is a peeve of mine. There are donuts but I think I might be breaking some unwritten rule if I take a second one.

Do Brits in America have more peeves or more right to have peeves than Brits in England who used to live in America or Brits who live elsewhere?

I have a couple of new peeves:
Peeve oneupmanship
People judging other people's peeves

Hey Peever, leave my peeves alone.

Mine is becoming the fact that everyone has booked up all the weekend passport appointments at just about every single local PO so we can get passports for the children.

First world problems, eh - I have a job so I can afford to go on vacation. I have a job so we can't take the kids to a weekday appointment

I don't think Australians would know the word 'peeve'. Maybe we're a peeve free zone. We do have cake though.

Probably not. Isn't it a letter too long for most Australians anyway? :sneaky:

Not long enough. They'd probably call it a dilly-wollagang-dinkum.
