I am very up front in telling them that because I am English, logically I am correct and they should repeat after me. They are just renting the language.

I went to a fundraiser Thursday evening and there were lots of booths selling crafts, jewelry, clothing and food. After hearing the expression "too cute" for the millionth time I was ready to scream...why?? What does it even mean? If it is too cute does that make it ugly??

Ok, rant over:frown:

I think it is excessive. We British just give our right arm, implying we'd still be alive after the desired acquisition.

"How are you?" response "doin good" I cringe, either answer I'm well, or just nod like the idiot you are.
