I have to admit, it's a minor peeve that people get all arse about tit over something that's been done for years and for which we get ample warning year after year.

But we're nothing as a species if we're not adaptable, right

I don't bother changing the car clock. It's right for half of the year.

The whole DST thing is a pain in the ass.

Funny thing is, this year I changed all the clocks on the Friday night, to give us more time to get used to the DST!!!

Even worse people who wait for their purchases to be rang up and bagged...then they start fumbling around in their handbags looking for their cheque book. You also have to wait for them to deduct amount of cheque from the balance.

Yes, and the people who start to write the check then stop in mid line to discuss whatever, over and over...

People at fast food places, whether inside or out who stop to read the menu line by line. Are you telling me you've never been to one before? I'm pretty sure that the menu doesn't vary from one to another of the same outfit.

No one uses cheques over here. In all the four years I was running the school shop I think I had three cheques. You don't even get a cheque book when you open an account. Totally different mind set.
