My shrink has narrowed it down to excessive exposure to Basil Brush, the Krankies and Crackerjack during my formative years....

When you talk about the "hard of brains" (which doesn't make sense, hard of thinking surely?), are you referring to the type that confuse lose and loose?

Hardening of the brain? Brain plaque - I bet that's pretty hard.

IIRC you'd get exposed to all 3 in a 24hr period from late afternoon Friday through to same time or just a little bit later on the Saturday... boom boom... ooh, I could crush a grape...

My dad used to say-he's soft as a grape, referring to one's mental health.

I'm glad you clarified that. If you'd said you still watched it on DVD, I might have been inclined to think you were into all kinds of dubious activities.
Still, it explains a lot.
By the way, what's the name of your shrink, there's some in here that could do with a decent one.

You like your spot cold before it's filled? Where's Ben Doon when you need him, eh Phil?
