Bloody Virginians who freak out at the first sign of snow and crash their cars all over the place. Want to go home (office is officially shut) but all the roads out are clogged up, so might as well stay in the warm and dry for now.

I got great grades (incl an A in Biology ), which enabled me to land a place at Liverpool medical school, then I threw it all away. Then I dusted myself off, and after turning down a place at Guy's dental school in London I settled for something more humdrum that set me, eventually, after several random twists of fate, on my current career path.

Interesting that it was all the native Virginians that were first to ask when we could go home when it started snowing. I mean, there is literally only an inch of snow on the ground! At 3.30pm the only people still here were my boss (from New York) and me (northern england). And we're still here now because we can't actually go anywhere if we do leave....
