British Expats - Pet Peeves?

It feels like I just stepped in to the wrong bar in the wrong part of town. What is everyone going on about ducks and their houses for? And you lot wont tell me I'll have to use search or google, or just pretend I understand.

Texas ducks poop too you know.
Big ones...sometimes bigger than my dogs.
My son has some photos that he took for a Scout project (Scouts has changed since I was a nipper..)

Based on the number of posts that ask about waivers for certain types of past indiscretions, I was under the impression that all of the drunken people that infest Britain are trying to immigrate to the USA? Now I know why - no tradition of boiling oil here. But, we might have to shoot them. Guns generally top knives.
