Fitness...do you?

Re: Fitness...do you?
I went skiing over spring break and ended up with "IT Band" injury. Had all the physio and I'm back rowing. I'd developed a few bad habits with my rowing so I've had a few sessions with a FAB coach.... 2 x olympic champion, multiple world championships and then he's coached olympians etc. TBH I feel a bit of a fraud having him but he's at my rowing club ,he's very nice and very good. So, now I'm ROCKING the rowing. Loving it just loving it.
My club has quite a few oldies ( people in their 70s) that still go out in the boats most days and compete in the regattas. They've aged brilliantly. I was perusing the net and came across this guy http://www.charleseugster.net/about-charles
He's 96!! He started rowing when he was 68 and has just gone on from there. He was rowing 6 days a week. Multiple world masters championships under his belt and now he does weights etc.
Inspiring.

My job is now my fitness.
Good work out 4 days a week.
Have lost 20 pounds so far and some good muscle tone in my arms
Lift around 7000 pounds a day in total on an average shift between the off load and on load.

Or buy a trike...preferably with an engine and a very comfy queen size throne seat on the back with your man in front of you doing all the mechanical stuff.
I highly recommend it. You may not be exercising but you will have fun

Thanks for the idea...but if I'm on the road I prefer to have a lot of metal and air bags around me.

If by trike you are referring to your Rocket 3 that is an awesome beast. I am always tempted to buy one

I have a Gel pad on my bike saddle. It helps, and yes it is good exercise. We are lucky to live in a very small town with quiet roads to ride on.
