Being British gives us a unique insight on events around the world.

Here is a map showing, in white, countries not invaded by Britain.

I am still mystified as to how we let Luxemburg get away.

More to the point, why did we bother with Belgium? I mean, we had them surrounded, they'd have to have sent the beer out sometime.....

I think you mean liberated not invaded.

There are a few that have me scratching my head. I am guessing that the Crimea War may have been used as justification for including most of central Asia?

The South American bit surprised me. Had to look it up. The Maitland plan. Interesting stuff.

I think we invaded past it, and couldn't be bothered to go back.

It's a pity we didn't detour to "cross Luxembourg off the list" on the way home, when we had the chance.

Including the Vatican on the list of uninvaded countries is a bit sneaky too, as it has only existed since 1926, and military adventures in Europe have been increasingly unpopular in Western Europe for most of the time since then. Maybe the Archbishop of Canterbury could take a contingent of Army Chaplains with him, to stage a small incursion, the next time he visits the Pope.

You guys...er, blokes, have a lot of nerve to have invaded Mexico without learning how to prepare a decent burrito. It's no wonder that the Muslims have managed to take over BirmingHAM.

Fortunately, burritos are starting to catch on in Britain, not very authentic ones, but burritos nonetheless.
