AOC is smart and intelligent. That's one of the reasons the right are so obsessed with her, they only like simple minded people they can identify with.

She’s a bartender with a BA in Economics who doesn’t know anything about economics. Right time, right place, right face, that’s it.

Can you provide examples?

Why can't you understand all of these neutral and unbiased criticisms of AOC? It's all totally non-partisan and not based at all on her gender or party. I mean, surely you remember all the hell Boiler gave this guy when he was a relatively minor politician out of NY.

It's the smug elitism that bothers me the most. AOC was a bartender so therefore couldn't possibly have any idea how anything works.

West/East coast snobs they are. I guess you have to be a dairy farmer, that sues imaginary cows, who went to a tree college, in order to know how to do government.

I don't like Trump or AOC neither understand the word compromise but the difference is imo that AOC know the importance of working to build consensus but prefers to have a my way or the highway mentality. The Democrat party should look at the Republican party and examine how bad extremist are for the country.

I am a little disappointed in you BritinParis. I have come to expect better more logical arguments from you than this.

I'm pretty sure these subpoenas went through legal scrutiny from both sides.

No.The subpoena to AT&T was sent in secret on Sep 30, the same time subpoenas were sent to Giulliani. It was not disclosed to, let alone reviewed, by Republicans.

Ohh

Not that surprising.

I didn't comment on disclosure. I've seen nothing that tells me that is even a legal requirement but I'm willing to read whatever you're relying on here. The point I'm trying to get at is that subpoenas went through "legal" on the side of both the issuer and the receiver.

I'm sure she is better qualified than the present occupant of the WH.

Well, AT&T thought the requests were legal:

AT&T said that it ensures the requests it complies with are valid.

“Like all companies, we are required by law to provide information to government and law enforcement agencies,” AT&T said in a statement to The Technology 202. “In all cases, we ensure that requests for assistance are valid and that we act in compliance with the law.”

Verizon did not respond to a request for comment."

Re: 2020 Election

Anyone can see that if AOC had been living in Venezuela she would have been a staunch supporter of Hugo Chavez and even today without a doubt Maduro. She's that kind of Socialist. Venezuela prior to Chavez was certainly far from being one of the poorer nations in that part of the world and there was a degree of prosperity spread among many of it's people. People like Chavez, Maduro and AOC possess a hatred of the wealthy. It's a hatred beyond any logic, irrational beyond words. Take their wealth, spread it around,, destroy businesses and jobs. The wealth leaves the country. the general prosperity goes with it, chaos, unemployment, shops with empty shelves and riots with the poor being even poorer are what they create. Yes it's easy to see what AOC really is. Even Biden disowns her and she's an embarrassment to Pelosi who can see that keeping the moderates together is the only way to keep the party stable. I predict she'll fizzle out like a damp squib and the disenfranchised poorer people in Queens will be no better off by the time she goes than they are now.

Princess Anne had a very interesting yesterday. First she stood with, and seem to enjoy the conversation about Trump held by Trudeau ,Johnson and Macron. And to top that off then Princess Anne wasn't motivated to greet Trump and wife when the Queen asked her to come over to say hello. I guess Princess Anne knows when to stop entertaining unstable people.
