Is community policing the success it's claimed to be? Take south-central; L.A. Unless a murder has been committed police half the time don't bother responding to such things as burglaries or thefts from stores and drug dealing and prostitution continue as ever. Chicago another sanctuary city has the highest daily murder rate in the nation.
In California illegals are now are allowed to apply for drivers licenses, their kids educated at public schools and no hospital can turn away a person who needs medical attention even if that person has no health insurance coverage.
The good side of the latter is that's it's humane on the other hand governments while wanting no part in providing any funding whatsoever for hospitals and medical centers nevertheless pass laws mandating that hospitals must foot the medical bills from their own budgets if there's no recourse to recover medical treatment costs from any other source. In cases like that it all comes down to the taxpayers in the end.

This investigation will likely take some time (well after the scheduled inauguration). Also remember, that Ryan and McConnell are the ones that, at least until 2018, will control the ability for a Trump impeachment to be enacted and pushed through, so findings during this investigation, (as well as the state of political affairs between now and when the investigation is concluded) could be the lever that the Republicans use to impeach the Orange Cheeto.

If you look at Trump's cabinet picks, a lot of them seem to run counter to policy positions that Trump took on the campaign trail, but would make perfect sense if was Pence at the top of the ticket. I wonder who's providing Trump with the suggestions about cabinet picks.. oh...right....
The biggest departure is Tillerson for SoS, I think Pence's pick would have been Romney, and I think that the two meetings between Romney and Trump were 'trial balloons' to see how much negative backlash would erupt from Trump supporters. The timing of Tillerson being floated and the CIA report may mean that Tillerson won't be able to be confirmed.
Wonder if Trump will figure out he's now possibly being set-up to fail by his own party?

Oh hey, you know that big announcement by Trump that he was going to make this Thursday where he would detail how he would divest/manage his businesses while President? He's now moving that announcement to January.
