Re: 2016 Election
I think anyone with half a brain can determine that Trump will be more damaging than Clinton. At worst, you can speculate that with Clinton, we'll have 'four more years' of what's gone before; which hasn't been that bad. With Trump, we could have financial AND foreign policy catastrophes of amazing proportions.
"At worst" 8 more years of decline in parts of the country where people are hurting, and more mess in the Middle East. Maybe not bad for people who live in California. Trump is such a wild card who knows what on earth would result from his presidency. Two bad candidates in my opinion. And worse seems country will be hard to govern- I doubt "stronger together' means considering views of Trump supporters, And Trump, well he doesnt seem to be the most forgiving person to any perceived slights.
And I dread after a Clinton victory the Republicans spending millions investigating a bunch of emails.

The markets reacted with a huge drop on Comey's announcement, it's pretty clear what their opinion of Trump is.

Winners and Losers, NAFTA is good for some and bad for others.

Was a server registered to the Trump Organization communicating with Russia’s Alfa Bank?
This is a rather esoteric analysis which is beyond my understanding (i.e. too hard for the public to understand) but it does seem like rather damning evidence of further ties between Trump and Russia.

What direction have we been going in during the last 8 years?

Is your life worse? Are you in the shitter today yet you were farting through silk 8 years ago?
You can add this to the post where you answered (couldn't answer) my question about Byrd vs Duke.

I've never given early voting much thought before, but having to vote early myself gives me reason to focus ... so, when you've voted early, it was using an an actual voting machine, whereas mine was definitely treated just like a postal ballot. In fact, I saw people coming in with the same envelopes and just dropping them off ... it was also listed as a ballot drop-off location:
So when do they start counting early / mail-in ballots? You hear the pundits talking about early voting 'trends' and 'results', suggesting they are actually counting (and announcing) results, but that sounds wrong, and I am guessing all that is speculation by pollsters perhaps doing 'exit polls' at the locations?

I do prefer the idea of my ballot sitting inside that machine rather than being stored in a box or a closet or even a dumpster.
