Sounds like there are a number of hurdles to Pence stepping up to the ticket, but if he did ... I wonder how he'd do? Handsome, photogenic, no time to dig up dirt, etc ... Interesting speculation ...

Replacing Trump is not going to happen. Pence would have his own issues with his ultra christian desire to pass laws based on his religious views...and his total disdain for any form of gun control...among other issues that would motivate liberals to defeat him.

Veteran in Chief ("not-a-war-hero") John McCain has pulled his support from Trump. (What was he thinking, in the 1st place - when he extended it?).

Meanwhile, after releasing a statement earlier today, in which Trump asserted he'd never pull out of the race (something an increasing number in his Party are urging he do) or let his supporters down, he just made a brief appearance:

He ventured out from his Trump Tower vault in the sky, waved at the screaming rent-a-crowd who'd been gathered in front of the building for hours...and then retreated to the sealed vault.

oh, by the way....Melania forgives him...that was a long time ago (shortly after they got married, when she was pregnant with the Baron) and "he will be a great leader".

His campaign has released a statement on her supposed behalf:unsure: saying:

"The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me. This does not represent the man that I know. He has the heart and mind of a leader. I hope people will accept his apology, as I have, and focus on the important issues facing our nation and the world."

Taking a cue from her husband's 'apology' (:unsure: ?)- it never refers to his his concrete, disgusting behaviour ie his sexual assaults.
Instead it mentions his disembodied words.
And discounts the fact that treatment of women as equals - is of paramount importance both in our nation and the world. Now.

It's just not going to happen. IMO Pence would LOVE the shit out of toppling Trump and taking over but there is no mechanism.

Incidentally, I have a working theory that Giuliani is in this for the free food. He's always around at meal time. Oh, and his daughter has gone public about her choice to vote for Clinton.

Well, it was dug out of the private collection / vault of the TV production company, was it not? Wasn't in the public domain as it was never broadcast. It was found when the production company itself began digging, inspired by other revelations?
