Re: 2016 Election
Challenge accepted, I'll happily do a mini-castaway (sorry Wilson, you can't come) across Lake Ontario and beg if Trump becomes Prez.

Five great Lakes are just puddles
On another front - Ominous sign:
According to the Audubon Society there's a superstition that warns "Dead birds inside a structure are bad news. A bird that flies into a house foretells an important message. However, if the bird dies, or is white, this foretells death”
With that in mind, read on...https://www.washingtonian.com/2016/0...umps-dc-hotel/
btw: wonder whether the hotel's Presidential Ballroom has been booked for an Inaugural Ball? Kellyanne?

Nah...we've already been assured the mighty Rio Grande won't present a challenge.

Official statement just released by the Trump campaign:
"The bird is not dead. It is resting."
And, unlike Cleese, America was stupid enough to believe him.

It is interesting how closely "Gordon Barlow"'s statements align with the Russian regime's propaganda efforts.
The full name as username is worth noting also. The obvious Russian posters on sites like the Guardian etc often use full Anglo names or names like "Jim from Oregon" instead of pseudonyms like most real posters.

There's a few people on here that I am sure are just using fake names to get around a previous ban.

As for who I am, well... I don't criticise you for hiding your true identity. It is petty of you to take me to task for being different in that regard, and for using that difference to justify a personal insult. (Personal insults belong in the TIO thread, by the way, not here.) I always write under my real name, except in forums where pseudonyms are required. My reason for doing so lies in my longtime advocacy of freedom of speech here in my home community. If you Google "Gordon Barlow Cayman" you can find out pretty much all about me. By contrast, Google has nothing at all on "HDWill". Ironic, no?
Re: 2016 Election
In Gordon's defense I'm pretty sure he's a real person. There is nothing to be gained from such petty name calling.
I mean he's wrong on pretty much everything but that does not deserve name calling.

That's got to be one of the daftest things I've read on here.
Perhaps you would like to PM me their names.

What a silly fellow you are - a wonderfully loyal patriot, to be sure, if you count "my country right or wrong" as your guiding principle. I don't subscribe to that principle; rather, I believe that no nation should be given a free pass to commit crimes against humanity, and I commend that idea to you.
