Only thing I can be certain of is that there will be more, more frequent and more significant.

Trump should be questioned on possible treasonous activities. Inciting the leader of a foreign nation, not very friendly to the US either, to hack into Hillary's E-Mails is questionable behavior to say the least. He claims he was being sarcastic.
I dare say Putin see's him as a stupid American who could possibly be manipulated in the future

Some of Trump's answers are just made in a way his opponents make them mean something else. For example contributions made by NATO for their own defense- it is obvious Trump's approach has more chance of negotiating Europe paying more for its defense , than Clinton who says we will give you everything you want, and by the way can you be nice and pay a bit more ?
But......
I hate to be unfair but watching Trump comments about the "sacrifices he made" compared to the son of Khan who was killed, my first thought was does he have some sort of medical condition that causes him at times to not have the same comprehension he has on other occasions ? Forgetting whether one supports the Clinton or Trump stated plans, did anyone else have that impression ?
But......

IMO, anybody who can't be properly screened shouldn't be allowed to migrate to the US.
Right. And nobody is saying we shouldn't be vigilant in the screening process.

I am not usually a believer in most "conspiracy" type approaches to understanding current events, but I do find it surprising that more terrorist actions have not occurred in America- is it possible there is much more vetting and profiling going on, but for ideological and political correctness reasons it is kept very quiet ?

Having said that you expressed what I felt better, are there early stages of dementia in Trump ? That response about "sacrifices" by Trump I find very very odd. Maybe there is an explanation I haven't considered, but I had a family member that eventually suffered from dementia who I first noticed in exactly that sort of disconnect.

If you listen to the republican rhetoric, it is absolutely without any question that the country is in very deep trouble. And if you listen to Trump, it's imminently going down in flames, and only he can save it.
Now considering the billions that have been spent convincing the American public of this, despite the fact that America is still amongst the most prosperous on earth (even if it's not perfect), an there's little evidence to suggest that will change anytime soon (notwithstanding an unexpected radical change of some sort) ...
... I'm more inclined to suspect that democrats or republicansfeel have been led to believe the country is on a wrong path, and are being led to fear it so much that they'll completely ignore the fact that they are about to elect a narcissistic charlatan xenophobe to lead it.

I am not a Clinton supporter by any stretch of the imagination, so my comments are not meant from any knee-jerk opposition to Trump. And I do not know what the symptoms of multiple personality disorder are to comment on whether he shows the symptoms clinically that meet that sort of diagnosis. And on a lot of issues there are some logical reasons one can prefer his approach to that of Clinton.

There is no doubt that more vetting is better than less, and that law enforcement agencies use profiling in many instances to better direct their resources. Unfair to some, and inconvenient to many, but most Americans and Europeans feel more should be done in the current environment.

Either we're doing a decent job of screening potential immigrants or the threat is significantly less than what Trump is telling us. Either way it doesn't fit into the right wing pants-shitting campaign. Same thing with Mexican (illegal) immigration. Under Obama, the incoming numbers are way down and the deportations are way up ... but yet we're told a different story by Trump.

Sorry, I worded that badly. I don't think he has Multiple Personality Disorder (Dissociative Identity Disorder) but rather numerous disorders of the personality; e.g. Narcissistic Personality disorder, Bipolar disorder, among other antisocial and sociopathic tendencies.
He seems to be having difficulty remembering much of anything other than his Don Rickles routine. Most recently he stated that he's never met Putin when he's on the record having bragged about meeting Putin in the past. When you look at old footage of him, he's comes across as fairly normal and much less screamy/shouty. I doubt he was ever really a very nice person but he did have a better grasp on reality in previous decades.

But I think your comments about "early dementia" does seem to explain the impression I had of his answer about "sacrifices". Ridiculous. How does "sacrifices " in giving people jobs and benefits compare to the sacrifice of someone dying for his country ? If there is some explanation I would like to hear it.
Anyway he is not going to win, and America can look to more of the same, and the same political discussions will occur 4 years from now.

I know certain posters will be along in a minute to negate my comments by saying that Hillary is a liar too. The difference that I can see is that the Clinton's seem to lie mainly to protect/advance themselves, rather than just making up crazy shit for fun. This isn't very complimentary of the Clinton's but at least it makes sense.
