I take it now the Donald is the republicans choice? Unofficially of course.

I'll eat my words, I had said somewhere (maybe not here) that no way the Donald could win, and here we are and it looks like it will be him for that side.

I just hope come November, the voters have some decency to vote anyone but him.

Cruz is out, and Kasich is about to pull out, so yeah, it's the Donald. There is some serious hatred for Hillary in some quarters, so whereas I'd expect her to win, I don't think it's the forgone conclusion lots think unfortunately.

So now we know Trump is going to be the Republican nominee, anyone care to speculate on long shot VP candidates for this most unpredictable of candidates?

Perhaps one of his kids (Trump/Trump 2016 has a plausibly egotistical ring to it).

Trump/Palin would be fantastic to watch as an observer, but the last thing I want for the country.

The obvious ones are Christie and Carson. Honestly, who knows.

I'm reading a lot of things about Joni Ernst who is a more coherent Michelle Bachmann, I can understand it as she's an up and coming star in the GOP. But I don't think she would want to get involved in this shitshow.

It looks like a career killer to me but ... OMFG ... Trump could win

I didn't realize he had so many kids with such a range of age. 9 to 37 (or maybe 10 to 38 now since the article is from last summer.)

Surely if he picked a Kardashian then he'd win by a landslide.

I'd be more comfortable with a Kardashian than a Palin.
