I notice that Trump is not getting his usual opportunity to dominate the debate.

Ok Rubio just went way over the liars cliff saying Clinton supports abortion right up to the due date.

Most uneventful debate of the lot.
Kind of feels like the debates have run their course and useful life now.

As part of the conservative base, I would like to state that I don't want to ban gay marriage (last May I was best man at the wedding of my best friend to his partner, and my wife gave away his partner) and although I don't take drugs, I believe the War on Drugs is completely futile, corrupts our law enforcement and has created a vast criminal network that is essentially out of control.

Maybe I'm really a libertarian, as I liked most of what Rand Paul stood for, except his isolationist stance. Dismayed that his run never gained traction. Was leaning toward Rubio, now looking more closely at The Fat Man from NJ.

Bloviating is one of my favorite words. Going by my friends live tweeting the debate it sounds like they all ganged up on Rubio (auto corrects to dubious) and he folded.

Oddly enough there is a small chain of taco shops called Ribio's, they do a very nice fish taco.

Chris Christie certainly flew out of the gates and went for Marco's jugular. Marco didn't do a great job defending himself, but I wouldn't say he folded. Funnily enough, most if not all rely on their own specially prepared 25 second soundbites that Christie mocked so heavily.

Their Chipotle salsa keeps me going back .
Sadly, the $2 fish tacos on Tuesdays are now only available after 2.30pm in the afternoon. What's up with that?

I missed it live, but Ben Carson and Donald Trump hilariously screwed up their entrances to the debate last night .

Good point about the others also using their 25 second soundbites. I think it was Brit Hume who pointed out that Rubio should have defended against Christie by talking about his experience on the foreign intelligence committee rather than telling us about Obama - again and again.

Definitely not Rubio's best night and we'll see the repetitions in hostile campaign ads, for sure. Chalk it up to unrelenting pressure from a superb prosecuting lawyer. But Christie seemed a nasty bully and probably didn't help himself.

Too bad we don't have a Ribio's in this area. I like fish tacos.

Oh the joys of spotting a typo after the edit window has closed. We don't have a Ribio's but a Rubio's.

I can see a nationwide rollout of a Rubio's franchise system for taco shops if Marco gets in.

What have I missed during the last 3 weeks? Is Clinton still hanging on by her lying teeth? Has Cruz disappeared under his stone yet?

Yes to the former, no to the latter. Oh, and Donald Trump is sucking lemons.

They keep saying he won the debates, but that's just his fan base voting. Still no explanation as to HOW he's going to make America great or HOW he's going to achieve full employment. But his fans don't seem to care. Empty rhetoric reminds eerily of 2008. The lemmings are streaming along. He did look sour for the most part, good observation.
