What do ya'll think of him? He seems a bit jumpy and disjointed to me at times, but not a bad guy or extremist.

I guess the whole point is that he's unelectable.

Agree, jumpy. Looks like a guy with nerve, jerkiness problems. Can't dance, either. He seemed anxious to butt his way into debate time and attacked the other guys for what he claimed was their craziness, which turned off a lot of viewers. Plus, he's done it all in Congress and in Ohio, where he's generally solved all of the nation's problems in that laboratory. Republicans who vote in primaries don't seem to like him, although he does well in Ohio - more than Christie can honestly say.

Yeah, well said.

A good governor does not always translate into a realistic shot at the POTUS. Bill Clinton and W did it but Romney could not. Lots of governors have run and most of them have already dropped out (Jindal and Perry come to mind).

Let's see. FDR was both a Senator and a Governor, Truman and Nixon were Senators, Ike was a general, Ford was a Congressman, Carter a Governor, Reagan a Governor, HW a Congressman and jack of all political trades, Clinton a Governor, Bush a Governor and Barrack Hussein Obama a Senator. So five since 1932 were governors and either two or three - depending on your view - were fairly good presidents Nixon was superb, but probably not one of the fairly good ones - damn those microphones!

So far two former governors have dropped out and another has assumed room temperature but hasn't yet been taken to the morgue - Jim Gilmore. Jeb! is probably the next to bite the dust when his superPACs decide to throw in with Marco.

Well, yes. Not running exactly, more like stasis. They just haven't called in the medical examiner yet. He was on the undercard, didn't you notice? I wouldn't blame you if you hadn't, I didn't watch it either.
