Well, there's always Santorum and Huckabee.

But think about the so-called War on Women. Why would women stay in the Republican Party and vote for Republican candidates if the party was waging a war on women? It's the most stupid thing in the political scene, and even US News allowed a columnist to blow up the five myths about the "War" that the Democrats keep pushing. And then you have Republican candidates saying stuff like this...

"From what I understand from doctors, that's really rare. If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

Todd Akin on MSNBC: A "number of people" on my staff were "conceived by rape."

Edit: I was right to be sceptical about the claimed polling on abortion in the article Flavius linked to (which is over 3 years old, btw!). According to Gallup, currently 51% think abortion should be legal under certain circumstances and a further 29% legal under all circumstances. Only 19% think abortion should be illegal under all circumstances:

Obviously weren't legitimate rapes.

The same could be said of the poor white trash in the south who keep voting like turkeys for xmas. Oh no, "those people" who are on welfare are the problem, not us...

Yes. Some people vote for what they hope the government will do for them. Other people vote for what they don't want the government to do for other people.

The thing about poor white people, not just in the south, is that forever they felt they were the lowest of the low but at least they were better than black people. Then things like civil rights, social security, anti-discrimination laws, etc., came along and evened the playing field (just a little bit, but a little bit was way too much), it really upset the apple cart. After all, what good is your life if you don't have somebody to look down on?

I think so. If you insist on oppressing somebody you should be required to provide your own prototype.

They all need to move to Mexico, or at the very least Missouri. It's very difficult to look down on them when they're above us.

They get free room and board for 18 years. Who's being oppressed again?

Not only are they looking down on us,
but they're bigger than us, too, and it's not just the Mercator projection.
