"Fair use" requires identification of what is being used fairly, which didn't happen. As RoadWarriorFromLP pointed out, Boiler's post essentially appears to be plagiarism, which I believe makes it contravention of the site's copyright policy in its terms of use.

Well, his candidacy itself isn't at all relevant to his fitness for public office either.

I really like him as a person, but can't imagine him as 'Leader of the Free World.' In a few years he might evolve into a comfortable sort of Uncle Remus type with great grand kiddies on his knee while he tells them all about his exploits as a brain surgeon - and maybe how he dodged malpractice suits.

You might well be right, although the Site Rules don't spell it out, but now you're really splitting hairs to make a tiny point about his carelessness.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, I see Bush (Snr) is a "blame it on Bush (and his aides)" kind of guy:

George H.W. Bush's Criticisms of Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney Go Back 40 Years - The Atlantic

I don't think any of the Bushs are viable candidates at this time, and that includes the shrub.

Marco Rubio wants to chat with Malala over a few beers.

That would be the underage muslim Malala.

She's not underage if he goes to England to have a drink with her... it's still an hilarious comment given she's Muslim.

Ah, I see she just turned 18 this summer.

It just sounds like some adviser said "you're not polling well with 18-25s, you need to mention someone like Malala to get their attention..."

I am all for kicking a Republican, but in this case, he asks if it would be legal, and I can read it as he has the beer and she drinks whatever she wants. I can also read "have a beer with" as meaning just hanging out with. I would also not want anyone to just presuppose that someone does not drink beer just because they are Muslim anymore than I would want someone to assume a Christian has not divorced. Most Muslims dont drink, I have met plenty that do. As a non Muslim, it is not up to me nor Mr Rubio to decide what a Muslim should or should not do.

Looks like Rubio is guilty of plagiarism, well BE definition anyway.

Well, since she's in England perhaps he'd like to treat her to a traditional bacon butty.

Back to serious matters...

I just read that Christie and Huckabee have been dropped from the main stage for the next debate.

I'm hoping we'll get down to the Final Four by March Madness time.
