Just been on phone to my brother in the UK, He is into bikes, and decided that they would spend this weekend at the British Superbike Championship round at Brands Hatch instead of the World Superbike meeting just down the road from me. He's a bit upset as they cancelled Brands because of the snow, and his visit here would have been much cheaper!!!:

Although some here are obviously obsessed with the climate they live in, does it really matter what weather you recieve ?

I`ve never really found it bothering me.

I`ve lived in several countries with varying degrees of climate, never once did i find it a problem, if it rains, snows, sun you just change your garments to suit it.

I have to say though, thunderstorms above the head are a real turn on.

Weather matters to some, not to others. Personally I am sick of cold and grey.

No amount of clothes will change the colour of the sky.

It took me ages when I was younger to actually realise people overseas had a better climate. i used to think when you went away on holiday the weather was like that.

Eventually I started paying attention as I realised just how crap the climate is in the UK.

I love it in Spain when the weather is reliably excellent for such long periods.

Plus, if it's cloudy, hell, this too will pass, unlike here where grey is the norm.

I fear its change you seek in your life, although the skies in the UK are sometimes dull, for me thats just another nice color to enjoy.

If Spain holds your true happy color great, enjoy it, but please, I also enjoy grey, so don`t try to depress the color.

A change in the weather for sure. Also if I can early retirement, so another change, a reduction in living costs, so that's another change too.

Why fear that?

I'm European. I don't see myself limited to one small patch of land under a grey sky.
